Christopher Lafaire - Senior Vice President, Information Technology

Christopher Lafaire serves as the Senior Vice President, IT for National DCP, LLC (NDCP), the $2 billion supply chain management cooperative for the franchisees of Dunkin’ Donuts.

In this role, he leads the company’s Information Technology and Business Process Improvement functions. Effectively translating telecommunications into business processes, Lafaire has grown NDCP’s use of technology to drive supply chain innovation while reducing overall IT costs. He guides continued standardization across NDCP’s network, enhancing business operations, cross-functional collaboration and technology support for NDCP’s members.

Joining NDCP in 2014 as Senior Director of IT, Lafaire has made a significant positive impact in improving business process, overall technology use, logistics design and IT network and application design and management. He played a major role in guiding the development and implementation of Project Freshstart, the company’s comprehensive, digital transformation initiative that involved changing every system and process which supported its business in order to increase customer service, drive supply chain efficiencies, lower sustainable costs and enhance productivity with inventory management, order fulfillment and more. The success of Project Freshstart resulted in National DCP being ranked #28 on the 2016 InformationWeek Elite 100 – a list of the top business technology innovators in the U.S. Lafaire is one of twelve world-wide business leaders that are part of the SAP Wholesale Distribution Council. Lafaire is also part of Manhattan Associates Warehouse and Transportation Management product council.

Prior to NDCP, he served as the Senior Manager for Deloitte Consulting, a global network of member firms. With Deloitte, Lafaire lead the development of the SAP Wholesale Distribution preconfigured solution. Additionally, he lead multiple SAP implementation projects across North America, Latin America and Europe.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de Mexico, Lafaire has been recognized with several published whitepapers, ranging from managing profitability, managing rebates and chargebacks to implementing SAP. Lafaire has extensive speaking engagements at SAP Sapphire, SAP TechED, Ariba Live and International Food Service Distributors.
